Designed for Tillso Limited, this machine performs a dual purpose role during Autumn cultivations and establishment.

The straw rake is controlled accurately for depth by the rear roller which assists weed seed germination by leaving them on the surface where UV light and the absence of straw concentrations can assist in breaking dormancy for some resistant weed species such as blackgrass.

The roller effect is supplemented by the gentle tine action when these are set to a passive angle when rolling after drilling, enabling 2 operations by the same machine. The design has been successfully marketed and sold in 8m and 12m formats to date.
